When you've loved and lost like Don has, then you can talk about delivering a rock and roll song. When you give that much to a performance, sometimes it can seem like literally nothing is happening on stage. Kind of like a car wheel seemingly spinning slowly backwards. But minus any interest whatsoever. Even though someone might call Don's performance the worst thing they've ever seen, the Sun will actually rise tomorrow. And life as we know it will march on. With or without Don.

Shame he tore his vocal cords whilst on tour. He was told to rest immediately but thought that as there was only 10 shows left it would be a shame to disappoint the fans. Unfortunately for every Dokken fan he did permanent damage.
