Thomas, the peel ply has the spiral black stripes? This used to give a smooth surface inside? Thx.

@@briansilcox5720 correct, this particular peel ply has a blue tracer, which is because it is in a “twill” weave. Other plain weave peel plies have a red tracer. The stuff i used to fiberglass the B29 with no tracers was a 100% polyester fabric (which is what peel ply essentially is). The peel ply soaks up excess resin, gives s surface that is ready for bonding and also helps even out the surface where the fabric layers overlap.
