Man, this really is their ultimate cat fight. This is one of--if not THE--best scenes with Brooke and Taylor. Incredibly scripted and even more powerfully acted. Each takes a turn cutting the other one down, and you can literally see the hurt and the relish as each one one speaks nothing but the truth. What makes the scene most compelling is the fact that their personal triumphs over one another never outweighed their insecurities about each other. If Brooke and Taylor took a good, long, hard look at their situation, they would see they actually have far more similarities than differences and that Ridge's arrogance (not Stephanie's meddling, not Brooke's seductions, not Taylor's supposed virtues) are the true cause of the pain they've experienced for more than 22 years.

Heres the deal... If Brooke had been dying when she first hook up with Deacon I wouldn't have that much to say OTHER than she should've found someone else to do it with... But Brooke wasn't dying through out her 2 month affair with Deacon was she??? Was she dying when she hooked up with Macys fiancé??? NO she wasn't... Taylor slept with James ONCE, during a time were they thought they were dying... You just don't see the difference do you???

Hope wasn't even Ridge's daughter - she was an illegitimate child Brooke had w/ her SON-IN-LAW. As for RJ, there again Taylor knew that Brooke wasn't even sure whether the father was Ridge or Nick at first. She felt like Brooke just used RJ to cling onto Ridge, as Brooke did with all of her pregnancies. Whereas when Taylor was pregnant with Thomas, she didn't even tell Ridge until AFTER he was born, because she thought he genuinely wanted to be w/ Brooke. Phoebe & Steffy were teenagers here

I truly say that given Taylor's character, she would not only care for Hope and RJ but love them deeply. No, she never got a chance to interact with them, but I'm sure that was an oversight with show's writers. I like this scene very. The Taylor character really showed some backbone, as opposed to the seemingly somewhat cream puff persona she often exhibits. Bravo!

She slept with James during a time were she thought she was going to die, as did him.. Regarding Hector... He was the one pursuing her, She didn't want anything to do with him...

javon lambert Taylor did make a point though. Did Brooke try to reach out to Thomas, Phoebe, and Steffy after she left. Brooke could have still had the kids come over to spend time with Hope and RJ. Taylor should have been a better mother and made sure that her kids had a relationship with their brother.

Let's say it the way it actually is: for the first time, Taylor speaks to Brooke exactly as she spoke to her years before. Brooke is always arrogant and only sees the mistakes made by others. Taylor has always been the more diplomatic and objective one. Here she beats Brooke at her own gun. And when Brooke compares Taylor to Stephanie: very nice. In the end she adored her and loved her. She should better remember her words today: Men don't want anything perfect? Great, you created your holy, perfect hope. Too weird.
