There are a number of ridings that were less than 500, and the mail-in ballots will not be distributed evenly between ridings. They tend to be for more rural ridings because of distance.

Counts are audited by hand, and re-counts are 100% hand count. All counts and audits are done under the supervision of scrutineers from all parties. If the tabulators are altering the result of the election, they would need the cooperation of Elections BC, and all of the political parties.
