I still have Nas #1. Milly's point is valid. 5 games with Zaye came out in 2 months but Nas has games that came out in that time span too. All wins also. The win over Nas was close as hell. It's not like he blew him out the water. Kind of like tennis and points based for ranking. An unranked can come in and beat all the top 10 ranked players in a row and still not be ranked top 10 in ranking BUT has the skill to be #1.

@ which part? It depends how you score? Point base or just wins overall. That's how tennis is. You don't lose the number 1 spot just because you beat the top players BUT if you're going by just wins and losses it's different. I didn't make the rules for the point system. That's just how some sports are. It all depends on what metric of measurement you choose to use.

@BlackHeartVIjust because that’s how a sport does it doesn’t mean it’s smart or good at all. i’m not familiar with tennis ranking but the way you explained it from a logical standpoint is a very flawed way of ranking and we should use our own understanding of ranking to do it not another sport that’s completely different.

I get Milly’s point and I still have Nas #1 but not for that reason. To argue against his point, the college example and all the others were flawed. A more accurate example would be if a boxer was undefeated and a new boxer came out of nowhere and beat that undefeated boxer. The new boxer might become #1 in some people’s heads but to a lot of people it could’ve been a fluke win, or anything, and like B Ellis said they just need more consistency. Now let’s say that new boxer then goes on to beat the #2, #5, and #6 boxers while also remaining undefeated against 5 or 6 more opponents, then people might be comfortable saying he’s the best in the world. This isn’t based on real boxing ranking just the general public’s opinion just like youtube. The college example is flawed because every team starts from the same point which Zae and Nas didn’t. Zae came onto the scene with Nas already there and beat him. He already had the skill to be #1 but the consistency wasn’t there enough to trust it. Once the consistency came, so did the #1 spot. So he’s not really number one BECAUSE of the Nesco or Skoob or Dae Dae games. It’s really because of the Nas game, the others just gave the validation to be comfortable with him owning that spot. Reason I got Nas #1 still tho personally is because I DO think it matters that he wasn’t fully healthy and idk why people try to act like since he decided to play it doesn’t matter. Idc about all that it def dos matter and I also feel like he’s just genuinely better and in better shape now.
