LOL that "kata guruma" is trash tier no way that should be a score. Three knees on the ground plus the break in the motion means it was into ne waza. No different than that garbage the Russian pulled on Teddy Riner last year. It drives me crazy that these crappy throws are squashed by the opponent but then somehow rotating your own back to the mat equals a score? IJF needs to fix this.

I think it is an ugly technique flat lining on the ground get blocked than he keep putting pressure on the knees. These are the type of adaptations you get when you change rule especially no head touching the tatami. Top nodge judokas can always adapt to new rules and they invent all type of weird solution to bend there way around the rules. But Fairplay it is valid technique but not ippon worthy and for sure not even close to kataguruma of old. Lets see when this technique start getting knee injuries on the opponents what will happen. There is never a solution there is only tradeoffs.

This kata guruma is not a real throw. You are just rolling on the ground. The rules need to be changed immediately. That was not a worthy win.
