國內疫情緊張，台北市立動物園今日防疫封園第14天，一早傳出喜訊，園方指出，經過9個月時間，母金剛猩猩「Iriki」總算順利誕下寶寶，保育員已經觀察到寶寶有吸吮到母乳，母仔均安，這也是金剛猩猩「迪亞哥」第二次當爸爸。

She is such a sweet soul, she reminds me of Genki. I'm pretty impressed so far how Taryani is being calm and supportive, I though she would be a problem. It's like her and Dad know it's a big event so they act accordingly.

Iriki is my favorite gorilla. My 50th birthday is May 29th. I almost shared a birthday with her little one. I can’t wait until we find out the sex of the baby and what the zoo decides to name him/her. So very happy for Iriki and the D’Jeeco family. Jabali is going to be a fabulous half cousin.
