how to make papdi chaat easily at home.
ingredients:
for papri:
all purpose flour/maida 1 cup
semolina or sooji ¼cup
salt
ajwain ½tsp
kalonji or onion seed ½tsp
water
process:
✓mix all the ingredients.
✓then add water (room temperature) and make a dough.
✓after that cover the dough & keep aside for 20-25 minutes
✓after 20 minutes make papri..there are two process- either you make a big size puri then cut into small papri size with a cookie cutter or whatever you have like this
or you cut the dough into small pieces thn make papri.
✓then fry the papris on medium flame until its turn into golden and crispy..
for chaat:
boiled potato
chopped onion
chopped tomato
chopped coriander
chopped green chili or boiled green chilli (mix it them then add salt and black pepper)
black salt
black pepper
masala(cumin,coriander seed & red chiili fry together then grind them)
tamarind chutney(video is in 'i' button
mix all the ingredients then put the mixture on the papris. some chutney on it, some coriander leaves and jhuri bhaja..
If you like curd with this then you can also add some curd on it. basically I don't like curd with this so i didn't add curd..
