Practice? You're talking about practice? Anyway, try seeing him at a pickup game at Hoops In The Loop. I threw him a bad lob and he wanted that ball so bad that he used to rim to do a pull-up, grabbed the ball out of the air and dunked it. Instead of getting on me about the pass, he said, "good play, dawg". That's a true story.

B.J. could hold his own as a rookie in the 1989-90 season because he backed up Paxson, did his job and went through growing-pains vs. Isiah Thomas and those Western Conference guards abused him those first two seasons... but Armstrong held his own in the '91 ECF game 3 hitting that 3 to put Detroit out of reach of coming back... after that Armstrong was playing great in 1991-92 and in the 1993 ECF, B.J. Armstrong hit that 3 in game 5 to put the Bulls up and then the blocks/strips on Charles Smith and who hit the layup at the end: B.J. Armstrong!!!... As Ray Clay would say, 'Beeee-Jaaay Raaarmstrong!!!'

@plainsimple244

People don't realize, Paxson/Jordan were good defensively; Armstrong/Jordan were better defensively but Paxson knew when to shoot, when to get off his shots...If you look at the Bulls prior to winning in 1991, Paxson would shoot from all over trying to match the likes of Mark Price, John Stockton, Kevin Johnson, Rod Strickland, Isiah Thomas and other great point guards...but as the Bulls settled down, he calmed down, didn't foul as much defensively pushed his man towards the help, either Grant, Pippen, or a big man and played good coverage defense and didn't need the ball while taking shots from areas of the court that he could make, his shooting percentage went up and he had better shot selection... it was more about spots for Paxson than anything else -- same with Armstrong and Hodges thus the triangle creating angles and open shots via position of players aside from penetration.

@@manofaith75 yes, he says that. But if you read between the lines anytime he brings up Jordan vs Lbj, he wants Lbj to become the goat. So everytime he has the chance he throw a slight of some kind towards Jordan and shine light on good things about Lbj he does. He's hoping that slowly by slowly if he keeps making Mj look a bit bad and Lbj look good. That when/if Lbj has an actual case for the becoming the goat, he'll be able to switch sides and say he was always felt deep down that Lbj was thr goat and he just didn't want to go agaisnt the grain. Chris is a people pleaser, he doesn't want anyone he hangs out with to look at him as bad. So he acts as tho he too believes Mj is the undeniable goat. But a real man judges someone based on their actions, not what is face value. Chris's actions of discrediting Jordan bit by bit while simultaneously boosting Lbj shows who he truly thinks is goat.

Because they lost Grant, Paxson and Cartwrigjht. What did you expected?? The 94 season they prove they were still a great team without MJ.
4 күн бұрын
@@juve4690 Because MJ trained every one of them. Look up 80's youtubes of the Bulls Pippen wasn't even a starter. I remember him at the free throw line he couldn't make one if his life depended on it. Pippen didn't play in college he became a player after practicing with Jordan for 4 years. in 1995 they were in the toilet.

Ask yourself who trained these guys. Pippen wasn't even a starter in the 80's when he went to the free throw line I cringed. He was not a good player and he didn't play in college. Jordan practiced with Pippen for four years and by l991 he started to look like a BB player. How many of those guys did Jordan train so the first year he was gone sure they did pretty good. THe following year wasn't great and Pippen was begging Jordan to return. Remember the picture of him showing his shoe with Jordan logo on it. This guy talking is trying to make it as though the Bulls were just as good without Jordan. I guarantee they never would have won a championship without him and they didn't. They should have won one in 1994 but they fell a little short without Jordan. Why do you think the Pistons had "Jordan Rules". THey knew without Jordan they could beat the Bulls and I agree completely. They were a better team.

That year, he was at least the second best player in the league if not the best. If not for a bad call at the end of game 5 against the Knicks they were likely to play another finals without MJ.

Some of the Pistons weren’t even making plays on the ball. Laimbeer was trying to maim ppl and Seriously injure bc they knew they weren’t the more athletic team. If you were a Mike fanatic like you said, you would have known that and you’d also know that Mike never backed down in those situations. Pippen and Grant weren’t ready at first but they came around.
