I think this bhajan was last one of the event and both singers were in a hurry to finish the same within timeline. Why because tempo from the beginning was faster than the original one. Otherwise well sung but definitely no comparison to original one.

Don't you guys feel Shame that you call your rasikas and yet unable to get the real rasa of icm ,the positivity it radiates. Pitiful and sad. Jayteerth Ji jaise hi koi line uthane ki koshish karte hain , koi improvisation lene ki koshish karte hain to Kaushiki Ji turant kuch n kuch gana shuru kar deti hain. I really really felt disappointed. Mere dil me behad respect thi inke liye lekin aaj bahut hi zyada narazgi feel kar rahi hu. Aur haan jab koi manch pe kisi par khud ko overpower krne ki koshish krta hai na, to vo shrotaao ko saf dikhta hai aur smjh bhi aata hai. Is se kisi ki kala nhi dikhti ulta image kharab hoti hai artist ki. Jayteerth Ji ki mahanta dekhiye k vo fir bhi calm rahe, shaant rahe. He is a very very senior artist and has a very senior image in front of her. But she neglects everything. Shame.

In the beginning , she definitely tried singing along which was not going well , even in the high pitch surr got disturbed due to the scale. I did find it odd but after the first 2 minutes. They got the groove. First he sang n then she did. I don't think she did it consciously ,it was not a planned performance . Her duet with rashid ji was completely diff where she was hardly singing ,idk why ... I am again not comparing any artist mention. Everyone is great in their own accord and i truly believe that , its not our place to compare. So dont misunderstand me. I feel It depends on the mood , day , composition , emotions. Affect of artist ,everything. Coming to this performance performance i disagree that she cut jayteerth ji even once. The clearly gave each other the space. Nd looked relatively much neat. I know you are her fan. I have seen u comment beautifully in her posts n videos. Even in the latest post I saw. I understand seeing ur favourite artist in a diff light can be heartbreaking.but being her another fan i don't think It's a conscious attempt . In both the videos she was constantly appreciating him too . I have been listening to her and following her for years I personally refuse to believe she wanted to show off or something. She is one of the most humble artists i know. I think jayteerth ji understands that too n he was equally appreciable of her and was enjoying. This is so much better the first time they sang together. Although I agree with you on this point and there is really nothing to debate about it , but I would definitely like to remind you that it is not an easy task of holding yourself together when performing with someone like Pt. Jaytirth Ji, and I heard the man sing live!!!!. She is undoubtedly a great singer in her own stead, whatever the problems in duets. Since we are on the point I'd recommend you to watch her other video with Mahesh Sir- Gaaye Jaa.

She does have a long career ahead of her.She is easy on the eyes and has good communication skills,that helps her to be popular + her lineage is an advantage but is she as talented as s Parveen Sultana or Kidhori Amonkar at her age..I doubt...I grew up listening to those ladies.
