Every year the Levitt Pavilion host a concert series that is free to the public. I was in the Army in 1966 and happened across him giving a Live Concert i St Louis. They let me for free because I was in the Military. He was so great I forgot about all the terrible things happening in the world. His concert was a little piece of Heaven, If only for about a hour or so. Thanks for all the GREAT memory's. Loved it in 1968 as a teen. Still love it in 2022. I saw him in The Flying Monkey, a little venue in Plymouth, NH several years back. It was amazing how good he still sounded. And it was sweet the way he talked about his wife.

I’ll always remember seeing BJ in concert at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem NC in late March , 1977 when he introduced this song by taking at ( deserved ) swipe at the group Blue Seude who had butchered this song a few years previous . He called them “Blue Swine.” 😂

We were fortunate enough to see BJ Thomas, in concert, in a little town in the Florida panhandle called DeFuniak Springs. I have fond memories of this occasion. We just happened to be there, and were able to participate in this concert by B J Thomas. BJ was very popular beginning in the late '60s with "Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head", a theme song for a movie. Thankfully, B J became a Christian and some of his contemporary Christian music was some of the best he ever wrote, which I also told him in person. He was very personable, talking with all three of us, letting us take our pictures with him, and autographing a t-shirt for me. You can check him out on you tube, and you can surely find something that you will like :)
