what makes a double stop with only one hand accented different from a flam?

I'm gonna clarify with John later, but I believe the intent is for both hands to hit the drum at the same time, which means there wouldn't be a grace note like a flam. The weird part is the hands start at different heights, so I'd imagine the accented hand would either need to start moving slightly earlier, or have more velocity than the other to make it down in time

Good question! The double stop means that both hands hit the drum at the same time, whereas a flam would mean the lower hand would hit first. It's a slight difference, and it can be played as a flam, but I personally liked the double stop.
