By far my fav of these is the Sanjo.. yes indeed that blade shape is beautiful, and I’ve always been a Japan aesthetics enthusiast. Legit considering that one for purchase this year!

Hiana Blue or the Empory. For me, the deep pocket clip is required, and I like blades at about the 3-inch length since I work in an office environment. Big bulky pocket knives are a nuisance in slacks or dress pants.

I luv me some budget blades...but, 440B in 2024? 25 years behind the times in budget steels I think. Lovely designs mixed in there though.

I tend to agree. Even my Leatherman multitool has an S90V main blade. 420HC on the serrated. 8cr32Mov and 440B are fine for casual users and collectors who won't be using them much. 😅 I have 25+ 8cr32Mov knives, but they looked too cool. 😂

I trust Bohler to make a decent alloy steel, at any price (N685 in this case), prescribed to its intended use by the designer/oem. If they want higher toughness, for a bit of edge retention loss, who am I to argue, especially if they keep the price down to compensate.

I hope you're fine. Many folders here really look like fixed blade knives, I don't see that often & it's an interesting idea. I like that many handels have discrete colours. I have no idea how you cut yourself, since you look ok while playing with them. Maybe it's time you realize you sleepwalk with knives everywhere... :)

Приветствую. Мало что красотка так ещё и так хорошо разбирается в ножах. Вот знаете , я смотрю на модели и вспоминаю наши точно такие же на Клинке и их цену . Сделаны у нас , а стоят как будто их на верблюдах и при помощи Джека Воробья по морю доставляли. Производство наше , стали ниже по рангу цены а вот цена за нож просто дурдом как высока. Делаем выводы . Интересно Бруталика выезжая на выставки цены ломит как у нас здесь , и в каких сталях ? Ладно , спасибо за очередной кайф от ножей и созерцания тебя. Удачи.
