I was just at Walmart today and I saw these dolls they are so cute. I didn't see the one I liked, so I didn't buy any. They are very pretty when you see them up close. I wanted to get a closer look at her body and joints. I swear everytime I see you review a doll you just make me want to buy them. I really wanted to like this doll, because I love her concept and her message, and I have a lot of respect for this smaller company for putting so much effort into its products. But though I like the articulation, the outfit and the extras (other than the brush and the purse, I agree that they're redundant), the general proportions and the face mold just seem off to me. Someone else in the comments called these dolls awkward, and I think it's the best word to describe them. But maybe it's just me, a spoilt adult collector. I hope children love and appreciate these dolls, because I think the company deserves this.

These dolls are so pretty and i love the articulation. I also love the idea of having a craft project not only with the yarn and fabrics but with the box as well. When I was younger my friend and i made dolls and a a dollhouse out of used printer paper and the piece that was thrown away from dot matrix printer paper. (Yes I'm that old)

The doll's eyebrows and hair are really nice. The eyes look like they're staring into your soul. (Or off in different directions from each other, depending on the angle you see her from.) I just think there's something really awkward-looking about the face sculpt and eyes. They should have used the nice articulated body and worked on the head sculpt and eye paint some more, in my opinion.

I have so much guilt every time I buy a doll since plastic is so horrible and its everywhere and so hard to avoid (think about how grocery shopping is almost impossible to do plastic free). People often know about how plastic ends up in landfills, and how its made of fossil fuels which is bad already, but turns out plastic PRODUCTION itself (like making the pellets) is also horrible for the environment and releases tons of fumes and gases and toxic waste in the towns that it is produced by. I really hope that bigger brands take inspo from these dolls because I would love ALL my dolls to be made of recycled plastic and maybe even other materials. Although, at least the dolls themselves we love and cherish for a very long time, and they can be reused and have multiple owners - the packaging however is kind of unforgivable since it is just ripped off usually after buying and thrown away forever. At least I hope that dolls start coming in only cardboard, or maybe with just a small plastic window for the face (like american girl).

Love these dolls! My favorite is Ivy for sure, but the rest of them are very cute! Haven’t actually seen coral or Nora in store though. Super excited because they just came out with minis!!! Only three so far! But that’s OK. I got two of them and they are so cute! One of them is kind of a miniature of Brianna sorry if I misspelled her name. The other one is a miniature of coral, they are really cute and are nice because they do not come with so much stuff, just a brush, a little accessory, a sheet of fuzzy stickers sort of, and a little hard plastic pet! I don’t remember their names. The third one they came out with is basically a miniature ivy but I can’t find her in store anywhere and I’m really sad about it!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw these in Walmart. They have a very cute color story and presentation, in their box. I’m also looking forward to the accompanying animated series. (Surprised at how great the animation looks🤣) I don’t know, if they’ll be around long though……doesn’t seem to be much interest in them. Maybe the series, will help.

You can make a doll purses easily. However, brushes are harder to find when you don’t have a lot of money. Maybe somebody gets all their dolls at a thrift store in a surplus bag. They are usually naked and do not come with accessories. You don’t want to brush your dogs hair with just anything because it will pull it out. This is somebody’s first full doll brand new the brush and accessories could make or break the sale.

Ok so I need to just say how huge a fan I am of the fact they made an incredible doll here. Usually dolls with a message focus so much on the message that the doll is just basic and nothing to get excited about. But not this doll. This doll is gorgeous!!!! I love that so much. But I do have to agree there’s just wayyy too much going on. When you’ve done your crafts you got a doll sat on a cushion infront of an undecorated piece of cardboard. Maybe the craft should have been more like sewing a handbag for your doll. Then it’s two in one. And if they want the box to be a play set they could have just done that like LOL does. Make it look like a play set. There would be like endless possibility for that too. A sleepover collection, make the dolls sleeping bag and cushion maybe. You could have a cardboard smoothie stand (because all doll lines do that for some reason) that you make out of boxes from something else so it encourages reusing. Like you unfold the delivery box and the other side of the card has the smoothie stand design. They could do a whole deco patch house that you get to design yourself. Like doll + relevant themed craft that isn’t just a cushion on the floor.

I can't put my finger on it, so I am just going to outright say it: is something off with the doll? Like size proportion (head to body)? Or something? I could be mistaken as I am watching this on my phone and my eyes are tired. 🤷‍♀️ Love the idea though they overcomplicated the whole thing. Sometimes simple is better. I am going to have to check them out in person on my next shopping trip.

I agree, I think the head isn't proportionate to the body. They look a bit awkward. Either be normal sized, or intentionally super sized like Blythe or Shibajuku Girls.

@@SvartRos lol, I would be horrified if someone has ever said that. Nah, I mentioned it because my eyes are both damaged from an eye disorder and I was watching this at 1-2am. My eyes were reaching their limit. (I have never seen the doll in the video in person. Btw). I believe there is a fine line between a comfortable slightly altered form versus distorted uncomfortable human-like figure. I found most people experienced a state of discomfort with OMG dolls but due to exposure people became more comfortable. I could not tell if the doll crossed that line and became unfamiliar for people or remained in a state of a normal comfortable doll proportions.

Great idea for a doll. I agree with the purse, and the little fluff "pet". I think the pet is trying to be toooo much like Barbie and/or LOL. I am not sure I agree with you comment on the brush. You have hundreds of brushes because you have hundreds of doll. I have a few, that I collect, so I have only a few brushes and would want one for this doll, especially with all that hair, if I were to get one of these dolls...not sure I can budget it.

I love the recycled cardboard and stuff but I just cannot get behind a doll open to the air like that. I think pretty much all dolls need to be enclosed completely. Let’s be real, dolls sit in store shelves and kids get their grubby hands on them. I wouldn’t want to get a doll that’s all touched and dirty.

Ahhh, it really looks like their hair is great but I really don't like their heads. It's really a shame that a lot of more unknown doll lines have some really good quality points but one thing is always meh. Like the failfix dolls their clothing + hair, these dolls the eyes look quite cheap, imo the whole face looks quite cheap. The clothing also a little bit but it could just be me honestly. Its probably better than barbie lol
