I love how the dual banjo harmony evokes the sound of a nearing train

I love how the singing of a wealthy white woman appropriates the voice of a male african slave stolen from his home to be worked to death by European thieves

Beautful ,haunting jazz solos over bluegrass voicings--absolutely stunning! Bela, I've been following your music half my life. You just keep getting better and better. I'm so glad you and Abigail are together--you sound WONDERFUL!!!

I’ve seen Bela with the flecktones I’ve seen Bela with Chick Corea and I’ve seen Bela With Abigail . Every performance was superb. I put him in the best of company he deserves his place among the likes of Pat Metheny Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea .

Saw Bela's name in the title and expected magnificent banjo playing. Did not expect the beautiful vocals. Fantastic.

This is now on my list of "gotta learn this version"!! If this were on a record or a tape I would seriously wear it out.

How great of an invention is the snark tuner that pros will keep it on their banjos which easily cost $4000 a piece? Great and inventive rendition.

I sure hope my late friend of 49 years, Windy, got to hears this before he died. He'd been a fan of Fleck's for at some 20 years. This was masterful. I love how banjos seem to be able to have the best 'conversations'.

@@whoisit01 There was one song on an Uncle Earl album where Abby did some yodeling as sort of a bridge.

Oh MY ! A curley red head with dimples that can play the banjo !! And sing like an angel ! Bela has more talent, but he isn't as pretty. He probably doesn't smell as good either.

It's a great spin on it, though. Takes it from sort of a children's song to all ages.

I read Pete Seeger's regrets for having the habit of holding his chin up when singing high notes. It damaged his voice he said. Check it out Ms. Washburn. An ounce of prevention...
