অনেক দিন পর একটা পডকাস্ট শুনলাম আর অনেক ভালো আলোচনা হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশ খারাপ এটা বলার আমাদের মূল বক্তব্য হলো এখানে দেশের মানুষ খারাপ ( true in some cases but ) বাংলাদেশ কোলেপ্স করবে,ভুলেও না! হয়তো দেশের কোন রাজনৈতিক দল কোলেস্প করবে অ্ন্য কোন দল ক্ষমতায় আসার কি আসবে না ঐটা আমি জানি না কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ কে নিয়ে এখন ও আমি অপর্টেমেস্টিক .... Bangladesh have more potential Than any other country in the world I'm optimistic... 💚🇧🇩

Yahia bhai is right...Our Bangladeshis lack patriotism and have so much of Inferiority complex. I have seen among Indians despite having so many challenges still they do have patriotism and pride for their nation which I suppose they have been able to grow their economy and spread influence around the world

Working women দের challenges নিয়ে একটা perspective podcast করলে সবাই উপকৃত হবে। সমাজ কিভাবে working women দেরকে দেখে, তারা কিভাবে পুরুষদের চেয়ে বেশি challenge face করে, কিভাবে working women বাড়ানোর মাধ্যমে জিডিপি তে ইমপ্যাক্ট পড়বে, পরিবার থেকে কি কি চাপ তারা ফেস করে, এবং working women দের লাইফ এর অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়ে একটা পডকাস্ট হলে ভালো হয়।

The tourism industry accounts for 5% of GDP in Sri Lanka. Where as RMG accounts for more than 14% of GDP in Bangladesh. So i don’t think these two things are comparable. Also since Sri Lanka has to import Energy and food and these two are used in the tourism industry heavily so whether actually the tourism industry helped their economy is debatable.

Talent reflects only then when the opportunity is embraced by the home country. You will become patriot only then when you will get your output from your homeland. People are treated as hostage in Bangladesh. This treatment leads people to frustration. How would people become optimistic with their homeland. You must feel the reality.

@@NoOne-tg3xl I never said that we have lack of opportunity and It's true that everyone will never be eligible to get opportunity not only in Bangladesh it happens all over the world. This is the reality. My point was on the question "why do people feel to migrate and why is it a first choice". You mentioned the laziness as a downside. But do you know about the people are working hard in abroad. and the presently Bangladesh is one of the fastest growing economy in the world 2nd in S. Asia. Poverty level is 25% so far. Bangladeshi is almost close to meet the MDG within 2025. A country of lazy people can't go that far. Corruption and War are now a huge setback for the progress of Bangladesh. People of every sectors are being deprived by the authorities and politicians. Agriculture, health, education, Law and order, Tourism, LGRD. If this place is not fixed Bangladesh will never be able to get rid of it's peoples "Migration Desire".

Governance, rule of law, quality of life are major factors forcing people to immigrate to greener pastures. When you are subjected to injustice and nepotism on a daily basis, I think your DESHPREM takes a back seat. The Sikh pride in Canada is not Indian pride but Khalsa pride. The Indian Bengalis also are not too proud to be Bengalis, they are proud to be Indian.

One of the reasons we are very pessimistic is because of the incessant anti Awami League rhetoric we see. I am not a big fan the party, but we cannot recognize anything the government does as good. Awami league is not good at tootting its own horn as well. I had to watch a German documentary to find out that way more people die in other countries with similar levels of flood and that we are one of the best in the world at flood management.

Why are we embarrassed of ourselves? Because there's no reason to stay poor. Listen to people when they complain. When people... students complain about road safety - act on it. When shipyard workers complain about lack of ppe, lack of occupational health safety medical care - listen & implement. When boat transport workers ask for basic river network signaling & safety - listen to them. JUST LISTEN & IMPLEMENT. Then Bangladeshis will be proud. We are not where we should be .. where we can be. We are supposedly muslim - so there shouldn't be any excuse for tolerating hunger. Or tolerating uncleanliness. Or tolerating theft. We can start there.
