This song helps me deal with my depression of knowing my dad is dying from cancer. I bottle up the emotions of sadness and despair. Your voice is amazing, its like every time I hit play its like falling in love with the song for the first time you ever heard it. Best of luck with your music career.

This entire album helped me, but this song got through tough times. Suicide usually comes after the realization that you have depression. In the 6th grade i suffered from depression and anxiety, my name was on everyones lips, their eyes always focused on me, I was critisized, discriminated, and most of all juged by the people that im supposed to care for. This taught that there can always be a better version of yourself, that wahtever happens is not only your fualt. Thank you Garrett Borns for making me realize that i matter, you have done a great deed for every one of your fans.

I found this band through a dear friend of mine and this was the first song he shared with me. We were both in a dark place, both suffered from depression and helplessness. This is the first time since his death that I've listened to this song. I hadn't the foggiest idea that it could get anymore powerful than it already was.

The Emotion - BORNS Shadows fill my mind up Zeros tell me my time's up I lost count so long ago Maybe my heart's numb Don't hold my hands accountable They're young and they're dumb Drive through the timezones Escape out of my mind's own home I lost you not long ago Heaven knows I'm miserable Hell takes all the credit though 'Til the day is done The emotion is suddenly out of me The emotion's building up inside of me And what you're looking for is suddenly out of reach The emotion, the emotion Islands under eyelids Swimming through the silence You were all that, all that, all that I needed And I'm falling, falling into the deep end now The emotion is suddenly out of me The emotion's building up inside of me And what you're looking for is suddenly out of reach The emotion, the emotion Rolling through the dark Calling to the light of day Both eyes are open now and I'm running I won't turn around for you The emotion is suddenly out of me The emotion is building up inside of me And what you're looking for is suddenly out of reach The emotion, the emotion

This song is so special to me. It describes feelings so well. In my case, I'm usually anxious and in quarantine it has increased, and this song represents letting it all out for me. "Letting the emotion built inside of me, out of me". And that power that music has amazes me always. Shout out to all the musicians out there with the talent of making someone else connect to their melodies and lyrics
