@@Lightclops You're not wrong, but that wasn't really what I was attempting to say. I'm not one of those edgelords who says, "ugh, all modern music is shit, music died in the '90s, ugh," I'm not saying that. I'm saying that, statistically, most music, regardless of the time period, is forgotten because it isn't that memorable, and finding a band whose music has staying power while they are actively making music is a rare and wonderful thing.

I really loved torches and supermodel. My favorite song ever comes from supermodel: Pseudologia Fantastica, but I love every song on torches (except pumped up kicks, it’s like their most overplayed song but I don’t think it’s very demonstrative of their kind of music). Fav song on torches is probably Call It What You Want

Oscar Miguel Obviously there’s no perfect synonym, so here’s my thoughts: if you want that haunting tone, try listening to Waste or Static Lovers. If you want that energy of searching, try Call It What You Want or Are You What You Want To Be. If you want that beat and music, try Hard Nites or Ride Or Die. Honestly, all their music is amazing and I’d encourage you to listen to it all

I use this song to help me whenever I’m thinking about my Ex gf we’re still good friends today but not dating even though my feelings haven’t changed one bit. She loves to dance all the time, making the chorus hit that much harder because of it. I love this song so much
