B-Roll#11 - Cursed PC with No Boot

So this was going to be a diagnostic session, but there was so much fail I demoted this to B-Roll. The fault was a fail. I was a fail for not spotting it right away. Then there was more fails while I rebuilt the system. And I even failed while editing with a music volume issue near the end. FAILS.

Good honest video, mistakes included. I had quite a few chuckles when you made the "fails", thinking of the number of times I have done face-palm rookie fails over the years. Wondering how long those wires had been like that?? Amazing, seen some stupid stuff before, but that was a new one. I remember getting a dead Dell desktop many years back, wouldn't POST. Got down to pulling the CPU to find numerous bent & buckled pins. Checking with the client found that the teenage son had had a go at fixing it before me, he'd pulled the heatsink complete with CPU attached, and forced it back in to the still locked socket. Thanks for great videos.

24 years in the computer repair industry and I thought I’d seen incompetent customers and computer cowboys make every mistake possible... I’ve never seen a CPU cooler installed like that before! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️😆

I just built a brand new PC that didn't turn on when I pressed the power button on the case. It turned out that the case wiring had swapped RESET and POWER switch Dupont connectors (from the factory).

Non-existent cable and wire management. CPU fan wires between CPU and its cooler. Confidence in this build is not inspired. Shades of Stefan Etienne.
