B-Sides: 5 of Chontane’s Vinyl Treasures (Electronic Beats TV)

Ukrainian DJ, producer and engineer Chontane joins us for a new episode of our Telekom Electronic Beats B-Side’s series here. The artist, whose sound traverses through Techno, Breaks, Electro and more has been slowly unveiling material via the likes of ARTS, Rekids’ Special Projects sub-label, SHDW & Obscure Shape’s Mutual Rytm and his own TANE label in recent years, while also DJing at many revered club spaces across Europe.
In this video, Chontane takes us through five of his favourite B-Sides tracks in his collection, journeying through different eras with selections from the 90’s, 2000’s and 2010’s.

Ha, thank you for choosing Zargo. If you check the credits you will see co written by Zargo [Cisco, Advent] and Egon Zo [that's me]. I hung out in his studio a lot and occasionally we did some tracks, he producing and me suggesting sounds. Am pretty sure it was the label's best seller, ITP or In The Pub !!. I was a dj and photographer which explains the titles [Snapshot, Darkroom, 35mm]. Great to know your playing this out after all these years dude. Good luck with everything.

First track by Advent was dope. The others were ok. Seems to be a big vinyl culture in Germany which is cool. Dude looks young though - I could be his Dad. 😂
