I love that the subtitles include explanations of puns, thank you for going the extra mile

The fact that Claes’s sleep paralysis demon beat Bianca’s lovely horse is deranged. What the fuck Knut Knutson

I really hope they add season 3 to youtube because that was the season that really hit home and took the country by force

Bianca was cheated! Her horse was clearly the best!

Knut got confused because she didn't paint 2 horses, it was that hers was worth 2 of the other contestant's horses

I genuinely yelled "WTF" out loud during this point. Her portrait was stunning! She deserved the 5 points plus a bonus point!

I have loved Taskmaster UK for years... I'm learning Swedish, so this is a perfect combination to help me learn! Problem is, I normally watch TM at 1.75x speed... but have to watch at 1x to understand the Swedish... it seems sooooo slow. Din tid börjar nu! (thanks Taskmaster for posting these)

The subtitles in this episode are full of mistakes. The ones in the other episodes of this series are better.

It's not slow if you can't understand it at a faster pace. You're watching it to learn right?

Love Taskmaster but I'm definitely biased towards the British original. It has a more sinister vibe. The stage on this version seems too well lit and a bit like a late night show.

I don't know if sinister is the right word, but the feel is definitely different

Yeah, it's less theatrical and more casual. like... a weird group job interview.

There's some kind of cultural context I'm missing. What does paying viewers mean? They have a subscription to a tv channel?
@felixchump2 жыл бұрын
I asked my friend. He says it means people pay to be in the studio audience. Not sure if everyone in the audience has to pay.

Licensbetalare = licence payers. In Sweden every household with at tv set has to pay a licence fee (which then goes to pay for public TV and radio - and that is why they are thanked).

@@BirgitteWandall like England with the BBC?
@BirgitteWandall2 жыл бұрын
@@georgielancaster1356 Probably. I'm not British, so I don't have first hand experience with that. (I did live in Sweden for a while, did not pay the license fee (as we did not own a TV), and several times an inspector came to our door and asked if we really did not have a TV)
