When the rhythm/beats to Peace/Pipe was played, we hit the floor, we couldn't stop shaking/moving, those were the very best of the best dazzzzzzze!!!!!! BT express was one of the very best of so many of our soulful groups BITD!!!!!!! We socialized, dated, navigated around one another face to face, the exchange in the sixties/seventies/eighties, was a dynamically organic, experience that are indelibly etched in our souls!!!!!

This funky soul had us dancing in NYC around 76-77 and was a prelude to the disco era. Thanks for posting. PEACE!

Veritas, here's what I saw: the black church stopped live music gospel and started buying MIDI equipment in the mid-80's. Programming the music followed. Black music has always been rooted in the black church. When that connection was severed, a generation of young blacks lost their musical way back home. Sampling took off at the same time and rap and hip-hop branched off towards vinyl instead of live original blues-connected black gospel in the churches. At same time, music stopped being taught widespread in American school. Result: perfect storm that murdered black music.

In answering Veritas I notice something else too: look at this band. They look like a band, not a bunch of Getty Images models. Why should musicians need to look like models to give you music? If your doctor had to look like a model to treat you, you'd be dead...

well I would be down for some apple pie tobbacco in a hookah and a nice philosophical conversation, and I dont mean mary j, but a social smoke with some friends and strangers would help calm people down, or pack a regular pipe with a friend and let it force your ass to calm down lest one get tongue bite, or a heart attack, once in awhile mind you dont chock it down like addictive cigs but once in a few months sort of thing.
