@@raulruizlara You can do 3 things: buy a protective headband cover, you can put the leather back by yourself - there is a tutorial to do that, not difficult, or you can buy an replacement headband if you don't want to fix it - cost around 35 USD.

I just received the Px8 in the new Royal Burgundy color and am simply awestruck by how incredible they sound. Hands down the best sounding wireless headphones I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. I'm not one to need loads of controls in the app and honestly feel if you need to use an equalizer to make your headphones sound good, there's something wrong. I haven't felt the need to make any adjustment at all. Yesterday, I listened for 4 continuous hours, without any headphone fatigue and to me, these have no rival in wireless headphones. I truly enjoy and appreciate your thoughtful reviews and actually went looking to see if you had reviewed the Px8. I'm glad you have and that you appreciate their sonic performance as do I.

Hey Aaron, I also bought the Px8 and have the feeling, as some in the forum and on KZbin claim, that it actually exhibits a burn-in effect and sounds better over time. Initially, it sounded a bit dull, which has improved, and I don't mean with firmware update 3.0.0. Do you have the opportunity to test your PX8 with a new one to confirm or refute this hypothesis? I find this topic super interesting!

I just got the tan PX8 yesterday and completely blown away on sound quality. XM5 is very muddy in comparison and the imaging is all skewed left. The new Bose QC is much better sounding than the XM5 but not as engaging as PX8. PX8 will be my daily headphones at home and Bose QC for travel and chores. One thing check for firmware updates on the PX8 the new 3.0 really cleaned up the sound for me.

great review , have owned and tried quit a few before i settled on Bowers and Wilkins px7-s2 and am really happy with them never use outside , mainly bluetooth with my desktop pc , started with b & w h95 , great headphones but a little quite and not the most comfy . then bought sony wh-1000xm5 which are very comfy , louder and for the money are hard to match then i heared a demo of the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless and bought these , they sound better than sony and thought my search was over until i got a strange hissing noise so thing they were defective as was using Sennheiser BTD 600 Bluetooth USB Adaptor not the bluetooth on my pc . so last Bowers and Wilkins px7-s2 , love them and dont think i need to take the plunge to the px8, as more critical listening i use on my pc focal clears with RME ADI-2 DAC which is sublime ... one feature i love and some have had and some dont is the music pauses when removed from head ...

@@raulruizlara Hi Raul, for me all is good, maybe because Im listening B&Ws at home only few hours per week. I have no concerns with regards to quality itself. What I also learned, once you buy it, dont watch reviews after because it will make you unhappy with product which you bought :D Those are normally directing you to check some things which you would normally not notice hehe.

Tried both back to back . The Bose are so quiet and really dissaponting. Sony was much better sound and volume. Bowers px8 killed both of them by miles in sound quality and loudness

What you don't know, you don't miss. I have both and the Bowers & Wilkins is much better. It is airier, more detailed, better separated from the instruments and the voices and last but not least: The bass is deep and doesn't bleed. The M4 has this to a much lesser extent. What you know and you go to something less is a downer. This is the reason I leave the M4 alone. Also they feel cheap against the PX8

That sound comparison is nonsense. I got a PX8 and that song on the real thing sounds a million times better than the sample in this vid. I got a wired Sennheiser 560 as well, the PX8 blows it out of the water. It is 3 times more expensive sure, but still for bluetooth it is exceptional sound quality (using aptx adaptive)

You have to understand that all samples go through multiple layers of coloration so they're only useful for rough comparisons with samples from the same source.

Google Pixel 6a with Px7 s2e: wear sensors are terrible, they stop playback, but they do not resume playback as they suppose to. Super sleep wakeup does not work eather, have to manually turn them on... BoW has not replied yet. Someone reviewed them with an iPhone 13 on BoW website SAME issues... Why do the sensors even have 3 levels of sensitivity: BoW knew the limits of the sensor from the beginning, put in better sensors from the factory?

I own both, and I like them both. PX8 have better built than the PX7 S2Es. Sound quality difference is actually negligible. You wouldn’t recognise them, unless you’re an audiophile. If you have extra money to spare, go for PX8s. But then again, PX7 S2Es are as good.

Sorry to disagree, but I just bought the PX8s and they have the greatest degree of clarity/resolution/detail of any set of wireless headphones I've ever heard. Beyond Bose, Sony, Sennheiser, and Samsung. In fact, the only cans I've heard that are comparable to the PX8 are the Sony MDR-V6 reference headphones (legendary btw). My wife loved them so much that we returned her new Airpod Max headphones and ordered another PX8 (in burgundy) for her to replace them. And don't get me started on the build quality.

Got the px7s2e and from what I hear they are close to the px8 sound. I can def tell you they are not muddy at all. Maybe your earwax is mudding the sound 😂. I did try the momentum 4 and I would call them muddy out the box at least in comparison to the PX Bowers.
