i am feel that its a big mistake for the production team to pick a Muslim country to operate a F&B outlet. there is so many things to consider for halal food, not just the ingredients itself, to be halal certified you need to also have a muslim serving in the kitchen, which the production crew did not have also. There is a reason why there is low pentration of K-food in Muslim countries, because a lot of K-food either use pork or pork broth or use sauces that are not halal certified. He may have bought the beef and other items from Morocco market but if he uses Ssamjang or Gochujang or other Korean sauce that does not carry the halal cert its not allowed also. the Production team should have just pick a non Muslim country and avoided all the issues related to halal food, and also Chef Baek could also have more menu choices to choose from.

In addition to pork or pork broth and sauces, alcohol beverages are also not halal certified. It seems that Korean cuisine definitely conflict with the standard of halal meals and culinary culture in Muslim countries. This explain why Korean restaurants aren't available in Muslim countries.

@@NmkG6RtH Actually there are Korean resturants in Malaysia and even halal certified ones in Singapore but the problem is i feel but restricting them from using this and that and no soju or beer.. it just dun feel authenic anymore. Actually even in Korea, there are halal eating outlets in Itaewon area.
