5:38 Yup that was me a couple weeks ago. First time on the trail in 20 years and enjoying a new bike. Took the low line and got tossed off. End up 30' down the cliff before I stopped. Fortunately my head was able to break the bikes fall from making it further down. Lots of matted grass everywhere down there so I knew I wasn't alone in making that mistake!
@B1KER6 ай бұрын
I clipped it once and had a close call. Sorry to hear that happened to you. Glad you're ok! Lately I've been taking the high line again.

Love this video format, Robert!! Also, that rock feature on the right, just after the step up and the ravine gap that's in the trees, I've wanted to try that upper line (4:27) but it's been a scary one to look at for me!

That upper line you mentioned rolls better than it looks. Just stay closer to the hill and not the trail.

As ppl said, we’ll done vid. I actually tried the “No peddle challenge”. Think I tagged you on my IG. Only made it to the first tech uphill. (Counter intuitive-I was on an intense ebike lol) oh, I’ve encountered a momma bear and 2 cubs on confluence like 20yrs ago. Was all good. Cheers
@B1KER2 жыл бұрын
It took a few times to get the little uphill's. At this point I haven't got all three on the same attempt. I'll get to the top and have to put in one or two pedals. I keep trying the no pedal from there just to practice the other spots. It's not something I do every time, but it's fun to switch it up sometimes.
