Mario A'Keen no. 100k isn’t shit when you sell multiple platinum albums, successful tours, a successful film, and other venues. Not to mention when you stack it up against another group like TLC who also got screwed over and got only 300k maybe about a decade later. And if you factor inflation in, it further devalues that 100k. 100k is only something if you’ve previously had nothing + that’s the most anybody usually makes in your field.

If you understand how legal contracts work...🙏🏾 how important it is to read your contracts... have your own lawyer! not the entertainment industry lawyer... to not sign what you don't understand becuz you want a quick $multi-million dollar advance ... to not sign your underage kids over to any entertainment industry without a trusted adult chaperone.. Then you won't ever have to hear no! Your child can't come home until (x y,z) date...why??! because you signed a contract on whatever day that they perform whatever duties until "whenever".plus you remember you got a multi million dollar advance. That has to be paid back IN FULL. ..so until "said group /artist/ performer/actor" fullfill their duties.. has paid, recouped and FULLFILLED any advances to record label, manager, lawyers ...movie companies etc, no they can not come home and the company can not be challenged or sued. That contract can go from 3 days to 10 yrs to forever..even until the artist is no longer. It's very important ppl READ their contracts.

@Kay You Not that...she underrated...the problem is that in June 2006, Milian's representative confirmed that she had been dropped by Island Def Jam. In an interview with Rap-Up, Milian revealed she was dropped a week after her album was released. The singer believed it was a "budget cut", and that Island Def Jam Music Group wanted to spend more money on label mate Rihanna. She said, "it was embarrassing. It was a week after my album got put out. I would be in my room a lot of the time crying by myself."

Everytime I look at them, I can only think about the tea Raz-B spilled about what was done to those boys. The molestation. But by the reactions of the black community just showed how scared we are as blacks to face these things, how closed minded we are and how ignorant it makes us come across keeping us back. We feel that since we've been through enough torture from racism, and slavery we're too afraid to admit that that's completely separate. We're still humans. People are who they are. We gotta stop ostracizing eachother and only being complacent in who we only want to support. I'm not saying you have to accept the way everyone lives their lives, nor am I saying to agree with it, we're all gonna disagree with what one another does, but don't shun someone out because of a life they lived you don't believe in because none of us are perfect regardless the race
