hey! thanks so much for the video, seems really fun. i have a question regarding targeting in guildwars2. i noticed that at 41:20 you targeted the scourged without clicking, and you often select the targets pretty nicely in fights which i always struggle, please, could you explain me how you have your target settings? thanks!

i use a combination of clicking and tabbing. When there are few targets its much faster to use tab, but when the situations are more complex i use my mouse to be more precise

in pvp at least the tick is 1% per pulse is pretty weak, the self sustain is good

What about plaguelands instead of lich as the elite for condi? It is very nice for cleaving downs, and often can prevent rezzes as well.

sure but its kind of weird because you need to be in melee to do it which sacrifices a lot of the mobility that you want to eercise on this build

How do you aquire this Wizard amulet? Spent a fair bit of time trying to figure out how to acquire this Wizard Amulet seems overkill stats compared to other stuff but all I ever get linked back to is the wiki oages on skins no vendor references cheers on a great video thanks!

Go into your hero tab go to your character screen and look in the top left there will be an option to switch to pvp gear, and in the bottom left of your character will be slots for weapons, or amulets just click it on it and select the one you want

Vallun jusr wnted to say i love your videos and your counter class guides are some of the best content this community has had in a very long time. Im a relativly new player and have been running a really fun rifle holo build, any tips for utility skills?

Sorry, I don't buy your argument against Terror. EVERYTHING has counterplay - saying it's not as good because it can be counterplayed via fear removal is just not a compelling point. This is amplified by the fact that the fear ring is a lot better than CPC for both peel and CC. Not taking that and the damage on fear is taking away a big piece of what makes core necro good. When USA ran CPC for very specific situations they even replaced wurm before the fear ring. You're really going against the consensus here. Wizard amulet is interesting though, will give that a try.

your argument about team usa running cpc over wurm is correct only in situations where you're playing for team fights and you assume you have a support firebrand on you. In that case yes you should replace wurm. I am playing mostly to solo q and relying on no support. Still does not mean you should take terror, and its not because terror is bad, as i said it is good. The boon removal is just better at killing bunkers which diversifies your damage making it less counterplayable (more cover condis means they cant cleanse the fear) which is better than a win more situational fear with terror when they have no cds, which you wont be pressuring out of them because you don't have path of corruption.

@@Vallun Idk Vallun. You're supposed to have 4 sources of fear on this build, staff 5, shroud 3, lich 3, fear ring. Your argument is the damage (which is substantial) on all those gets outweighed by adding boon corrupt to 1 skill: shroud 2. Especially when your argument is "diversify damage". That doesn't add up. Also if that little bit of boon corrupt is so valuable people would still be running the Corrupt Boon skill which no one runs any more.
