At level twelve you should respec and take the cleric level first. If you like to use scrolls from time to time they will have more effectiveness from your wizard's intelligence level. The scrolls and item spells use the modifier from the last class that you took a first level in.

Seems like they made some changes to how the core specializations work since this video came out, cause I don't see a way to skip Flesh of the Master since it seems to be a circle you fill in now.

I couldn't find it listed anywhere on GJ so here's the build for people wondering: Deadly Arts: 1-3-3 Critical Strikes: 3-2-2 Deadeye: 3-3-2 Apologies if it's somewhere there, I may be stupid. --- *You can also swap in [Fire for Effect] with some cantrips as shown in the video ^ -- If you want to do AoE Qucikness. + [Deadly Aim] -- If you want to add some piercing / "cleave" to your build. + [Invigorating Precision] and/or the new [Relic of Zakiros] if you want to be Immortal or Doubly Immortal. Disclaimer: With each of these changes you lose ~1-2K DPS. But with full power gear + Infusions even if you swap every one of these things out ^ you're still doing around 23K. --- Ty for the video btw Vallun! Rock on!! 😄

Guys be aware, this build isn't the best at one thing, he is good on avg on all things! I was reject so many times in strikes / fractals / raids just cuz I was cele firebrand. It is good for low tier fractal, strikes could be just lie and say you are dps, raids forget about it unless you lie, good for zerg WvW. Other than that having a good a character at each game mode is so much better but pricey. I changed my celestial ascended FB to Qhfb which I used for fractals. that costed me a lot Please be aware, and use if either you are completely new to the game and you are suffering with defense in open world, or you know what you are doing and have other characters

How does the build work for other types of content outside of Open World PVE?

wouldnt alot of the skill cap of gw2 be unlocked by making a free move option relevant to camera angle? basically convert a top down control scheme to whatever direction the camera is facing on its x axis.... basically so if you hold down s or backwards you would turn and run backwards instead of walking back facing forward.... a simple option could fix alot of these videos explaining movement and things like using about face to its potential..... imo my best play style would compliment that kind of controls... it is subjective but sux i cant play like that

I'm hoping they might give a small buff to swords, the mobility they provide looks really fun but it seems like most builds i'm finding don't use them. You used them really well in this video but i'm nowhere near as skilled so I worry I couldn't make this build work haha...

Bro do you do PvP personal training if someone pays you for it?

I have a question. Why use the Relic of Lyhr? When I use it I always end up dying because of it. I would have to save all my burst heals to recover from taking damage for other people just eating damage from the enemy, but it is just far too much damage to absorb. I understand trying to be a meat shield for the team, but if I die two seconds into the fight, isn't that counter intuitive? I have tried using my full counter after healing, but that just ends with me dying still. I changed to a shield and mace with the staff to have a ton of blocking, but it is still too much damage to absorb. Am I using this relic completely wrong?

Can i also use this power build for PVE solo? Need to take those buggers out faster cause condi just takes too long. I'm dead before i can finish.

Is core necro best for pvp/wvw or some specialisation?

I love this build. I quickly did the 1st part of the SotO story so I could get weaponmaster training. The only hard part is resisting the urge to send in the clones to bomb someone when I've got 3 up. For sigils, I know it uses Energy for the 50% endurance boost, but I'm experimenting with others for the second. I'm using Severance to get a precision and ferocity boost when I interrupt, and Cleansing to remove up to 3 conditions when I swap. Seems to work well.

Thats support in a nutshell. Going to heal...oh they ran away. Going to barrier but they teleport. Going to revive them. Oh mist form cool. Oh everyone left me to die cool

Recount in WoW was mostly used by try hard players that kick whoever are at the button. They forget not everyone can be first at doing dmg or heals and staying alive and do the mechanics currectly should be more important.
