I just purchased a B3 Exact last week after issues with other sights. They fully customized the pins for me ( all green because of a vision issue). Sight arrived without the light bracket. It is a good solid, simple sight that is a good one for whitetail hunting. Also, if you are mostly a whitetail hunter, you might give some thought to having your three pins at 25, 35 and 45. I did a long study on this topic and the best single pin sight in distance is 25 yards - gives the most forgiveness for misjudging ranges from zero to almost 35 yards with just one pin. Good luck.

I can respect your wants for simplicity but I come from a target and hunting background, so I like a precious sight even for only shooting out to 40 yards.

Good point. I used to shoot 3-D tournaments a lot back in my early archery/bowhunting days and I was changing arrow setups just about every week - and playing with different anchor points, draw lengths, etc.. I loved micro-adjustable everything back then. But as I got away from competing (I need to get back to that) I moved toward sights and rests that once adjusted were like welded steel. I didn't want to chance anything moving or vibrating loose over time. Some of those sights and rest setups remained unmoved for several years as I rarely changed my arrow setup. They were accurate, just not very adjustable. Have a great day.

Pin housing?? I think thats what they call that... Im a tall archer also, 32" draw, so I think i would really like that rail to mount my sight. I still have the side mount with dove tail.. Looks like a good sight!

I really like it Bryan. Yes, I have a really hard time getting my sights high enough using a standard dove-tail side mount attachment. The pic rail is definitely better for me.

Thomas, that is a good question. I guess there are some new ones from Kwikee that I am going to test but in the meantime I will stick with the Fuse quiver I used last year.

Please Bill please start using at least an 8" stabilizer with just a couple ounces of weights!!! I've been watching you since 2008 on midwest whitetail and it drives me crazy that you could be a much better/effective hunter

Tyler, I appreciate that, but I don't think adding a few ounces to the front of my bow will make me a better bowhunter. I think that comes down to judgment, experience, sometimes endurance and usually ends with short, well-timed shots. But I will not argue with you that a stabilizer might make me a little bit better on the range. I can mess with one and do a Setup video on whether it made me a better shot. I think that would be interesting. I know the top archers use them. I am just a minimalist. If I was good enough, I would definitely hunt with a recurve bow. Thanks for the comment and the support.

I could of killed the biggest buck of my life 2 years ago if I had that light on my sight. Early morning and overcast hiding in a cedar with him 10 yards away and I cannot see the pin to put a vital shot on him. Puts his head down and walks directly away. Haunting me to this day.

I had a really good one get away a few years back too because of a poor light. I was in a blind and the sight light didn't come on when I turned the knob. It is super hard to make a good shot from a blind during the last hour daylight without a sight light. At least at my age. We get what we pay for. What were those deer worth? At least the cost of a sight with a good light! Good luck.

Is it hard to move the invidual pins? I want to upgrade from my cheap trophy ride but the thing I hate the most is trying to move the pins when sighting in.

You have to move them all individually with a small Allen wrench so I would say the sight is about normal from that standpoint. They lock down good and the sight overall is very solid, but I wouldn't say there is anything special about the ways the individual pins move.
