The role it serves varies by copy: sometimes it holds a hidden cap switch, sometimes it’s a secret, difficult “final challenge” stage, others it is the location of the AI’s core. In B3313, however, it is yet another red herring, as even after defeating Bowser in this final boss arena, the bros remain trapped in the castle plexus.
