Bad mannered anchors are not very pleasant viewing! Sallil was picking on him constantly trying to bully him, putting down his successes, his fan following. For example, derogatory comments directed at Fawad "You all never respected Indian television", "You are very quiet" (30 seconds into the interview :-) LOL give the guy a chance to answer your question) "Khoobsurat wasnt a runaway success" Bad manners Sallil. An analogy for you Salill is like a rude antoginistic host inviting a guest to his house for dinner. Guest is well mannered and dignified and is sitting politely through his meal whilst the host lays into him as he takes every mouthful. But Fawad handled himself very well. HE was humble. Modest and intelligent. I was not a fan of Fawad's before but his performance in Kapoor and Sons was good! and WAtch this space FAWAD KHAN is a hidden talent. Do not be fooled by his good looks alone. He can act!. His role in Kapoor and Sons was very difficult as those of you who will go see the film will see. FAWAD's ROLE is NOT A ROLE YOU HAVE EVER seen in mainstream hindi cinema. His role was the most challenging as with Rishi Kapoor playing 90 year old grandpa.

The host seemed like a butthurted kid desperate to get a floor in front of someone to whom he is not even near to his shoe dust. Fawad was thoroughly brilliant and on point that the host doesn't even stand a chance in front him and also took a ultimate class of mannerism and wit. Love and huge respect for Fawad from Bangladesh.

Agree Anchor was definitely antagonistic towards Fawad jealousy, hate! wanting to put him down from the first statement he made. Anchor intros Siddharth and Alia as "hearthrobs" and Fawad "mature segment" Siddharth is 31 Fawad is 34.

+SALIL ACHARYA you were sooo incredibly rude to FAWAD. I am not even a fan of Fawad's but the film Kapoor and Sons is brilliant and his performance in this role is fantastic! You must have seen the film dude! Even you must appreciate the role of Rahul the elder brother is a never seen before in indian cinema. And you have to admit he holds his own against some fantastic actors Rishi K, Rajat Ratna as does Alia. And Art is not about nations and politics Salil. Art communicates across all national and racial boundaries. Look at the huge popularity of International cinema. Italian cinema. French Korean Chinese. Good cinema is fantastic for all audiences whatever nationality they are. I am British. I appreciate Bengali cinema and I dont speak the language at all! And good acting has nothing to do with nationalities. Fawad khan i hope ignores the jealousy about his looks and focuses on his craft of acting! "You all never respected Indian television!" is silly i hope you reply to this. Because Salill Acharya you were so rude. This man behaved with the utmost grace and well manners. He showed how well brought up he is. How intelligent he is. You on the other hand do not come of so well.

I have seen Kapoor and sons guys and not to give anything away Fawad acting is brilliant as are Rishi Kapoor and the actors in parents' role. Go WATCH IT!!!! Alia is also very impressive although she is playing the girl next door so not as challenging a role as she has had in Highway but still she performs well. Siddharth is good but not as good as the other actors but in some scenes. I think Siddharth's best performance to date has been in Villain and in Brothers he was good also. In Kapoor and Sons he is a hit in some scenes and a miss in others in terms of his dialogue delivery; it is a bit contrived!

anchor is rude. Inhospitable come one dude! You are the host its bad manners to bully your guest interviewees because you dont like them! Check out 0.10 secs into it when the interview starts and he begins to lay into Fawad Khan. And then disses him constantly. Siddharth joins in and tries to bully Fawad also. Til the end the anchor just makes silly statements towards FK. He even does not shake hands with him. In the beginning anchor gives others a warm sincere handshake. And FK gets a pathetic limp half hand shake. Come on Salill you tell a lot about a person by his handshake. It should be sincere.
