Thank you all for the feedback and YES, B550 MASTER doesn't look like a mobo with mid-ranged chipset - it got 16 phases of direct power, 70A of the deliverable current per phase and triple PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 support, which should be found only on premium segment before like X570 Xtreme. It's our first try to push the spec of mobo w/mid-ranged chipset to the top and there's only one reason for it: B550 by far seems the best answer for those who wanna taste PCIe 4.0 However we didn't forget the goal of B550: MAKES PCIe 4.0 FOR EVERYONE so besides B550 MASTER, there'll be at least 8, or even more (may vary by region) B550 mobo come up which allows you guys have way much less chance to break the bank :p

Got myself a Asus X570 Tuf Gaming for 250$ and Ryzen 3600. Not using PCI Gen 4.0, but plan to upgrade in 2-3 years with another chipset (Ryzen 4/5) - this was for my gaming PC build. Was waiting for B550, but prices are about same as the Asus X570 Tuf.

has a better VRM and power stage then most X570 boards... its presumably a better overclocker. But its mainly for the 3x M.2, Wifi 6, BT 5. Depending on its price its the best board for 3300X, 3600X, 3700X over clockers

That's a big lie. This motherboard was made for me. I wanted a current generation motherboard without a chipset fan and with the VRM of the x570 Aorus Xtreme (or as close to it as possible). I also didn't want to pay €800 for it. The B550 Aorus Master delivers on all aspects. Also, there are plenty of cheaper B550 motherboards available if you don't like the price of this one. Don't act as if this is the only Aorus B550 motherboard available. Just because you don't want to buy this motherboard doesn't mean that it won't sell.

i have a question for aorus.... i run 2 m.2 gen 3 currently on a b550 tomahawk, and i am considering swapping it for a aorus master, but another reviewer KitGuruTech. claims that if you are to run more then one m.2 ssd it will limit the gpu to 8x instead of 16x if only using one m.2.... where as with the tomahawk as stated i run 2 m.2 ssds and get 16x for the gpu... is he correct that you limit the gpu to 8x if running more then 1 m.2 ssd?

The omission of any front panel USB Type C connector on The Aorus B550 boards even one such as expensive as this (over $300 here in Sweden) is just plain silly and excludes them from my list of consideration. Most mid range to high end cases these days come with front panel USB Type C connector for use with phones and other high power devices. It is the future of USB so to not be able to connect that to the motherboard in 2020 makes it a big NO GO for me. Even my X370 from 2017 have one so this makes no sense!

Chipset isn't the only thing that determines how good a board is. The chipset gives you extra PCIe lanes, but this board gives you a ton of USB headers, a post code, lots of fan headers, and a ridiculously good VRM. It's absolutely worth the price when compared to similarly priced X570 boards, unless you're doing something that means you actually need the extra PCIe lanes.
