BC60 CATAMARAN - introducing a NEW breed of Bering

Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov is presenting BC60 CATAMARAN, a conceptually new aluminum explorer catamaran. Responding to our customers’ demand, we are making a new type of live-onboard Bering vessel featuring the same quality, safety, range, and craftsmanship.
This 60-foot flexible multihull platform is an ambitious but encouraging enterprise. Coming from our in-house designer team, BC60 is designed for leisure and adventure; relaxing day-long trips or rangy transatlantic travel is equally possible. It can be built in 4, 5, or 6-stateroom modifications. The main deck features a 50-square-meter interior area: a saloon with a galley, a bar, and a high-low table section. A semi-custom approach gives a choice between an open or closed flybridge. A huge cockpit can be extended to 35 square meters with the 10-meter swimming platform raised to the flybridge area.
BC60 has a shallow draft, improving the boat’s accessibility and making it perfect for the Mediterranean and Caribbean, and even includes some inner waters. She has cruising speeds of 12-13 with maximums of 15 knots. A wide array of options, storage space, and other amenities will make your trips of up to 3,000 nautical miles enjoyable and worry-free. It is always good to buy a Bering - now a Bering catamaran.

I love Bering, but there are so many empty nester retired couples out there that don't need 4, 5, and 6 cabins. After you get your feet wet with this one, can you make a smaller version that can still get get from California to Hawaii?

Would like to see the C80 , for me a huge aft beach club wuth foldable wings, hot tub in the flybridge. More solar panels and hybrid propulsion. Master + 2 Vip + 2 guest cabins + crew accomodation. She speaks to me of economic earning capacity, with flexie space. Comfortable size for near shore work. Would be timely to have a hybrid electric option for silent observation above and below the sea. I wonder about a DP system, hydraulic or electric. Fantastic all round but one question, why the hell would you put the main helm seat to port? There's a good reason 99% of boats (if the helm is offset) has it offset to Starboard. (Because you turn to Starboard to avoid collision and being on the Starboard gives the best viewpoint of potential obstacles if you need to turn in an emergency).

It looks this boat mainly focuses on practicality rather than design It seems the boat provide plenty of indoor space I think use of full bow area is great choice. Actually net in the bow is almost useless for some people( but it is cost-saving) Catamaran market is definitely getting bigger and more crowded with a lot of competitions Superyacht builders are getting into the market as well So one who wants to buy cat. needs to find right one which is really well built.

Did I hear him say that the swim platform can be raised up to the bridge deck aft??? THAT would be cool !! Wish they had shown a diagram of the double converted to huge master. I think the only thing i don't like is the crew being up front. Im one of those people who care about my crew, I want them to have easy and decent access to where THEY live, not having to climb down a vertical ladder in the pouring rain or bad weather to get to THEIR personal space. I think that's very disrespectful, yet all too often owners see crew as expendable slaves and don't care about them.
