I've been on that flight dozens of time, mostly when those 747's belonged to Northwest. It always felt so good after 12+ hours from MSP to Tokyo, and another 4 to MNL. Sadly now Delta has discontinued all service to the Philippines.

the best time to get the amazing lights of mega manila is 6:30 to 8:30 pm unlike this one at the very wee hours of the dead and darker night, maybe you should go back and take two haha this landing shot was taken from east to west approach to the runway

+HDTokyoAviation Really, when I arrived at Haneda, Tokyo, some funs go upstair and I follow them. The flight attendant said "for short time", so I can see Cathay B747-400 cockpit. I was lucky!
