I came in on an A330 from hong kong to manilla in Feb, we must have hit wake turbulence because the back end was flopping up and down 25 ft like a see saw. Girl beside me was in the crash position, I was holding onto anything I could grab. We landed though !

@@aerowandererTotally doable. For a period of time pre-Covid PR was using an A320 AKL-CNS-MNL. Until recently, there was a Batik Air Malaysia B737 flying the 7hr 30 min flight AKL-PER.
@Noyou-zp3ym4 ай бұрын
Yes I think an a321 neo could fly that long.

@@adeejinnz I recall Batik. I assume they’ve temporarily suspended the route. Though I’ve come across the likes of Air Arabia, Salam Air doing 5/6 hrs hope across to SE from Sharjah, it quite fascinating to come across NBs flying 6/7 hour journeys. Highlights how far we’ve come in terms of tech & innovation for tow engines aircraft to fly this distance & time. Taking about comfort…. let’s leave that for another day😂

I love the description and title you wrote down. International airport should never be called NAIA. It always have been MIA so I thank you for that. Aquino's don't have anything to do with Manila International Airport that's why they dont have the right to changed its name to NAIA. Although Benigno was assasinated there, there are still not enough base line for them to call it Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
