I lost 3 Lakh on the day Russia attacked Ukraine. That was 60% of my trading capital. To be on safer side most of my capital is invested in equities only and I have allocated a limited portion only for options trading. I had 120 lots carry forward without hedging. Even a 80-20 rule would have saved me on that day. My mistake I was not following geopolitical news at that time. A single mistake wiped out a big chunk of my capital. Still I managed to survive and rebuild the capital with patience without putting any extra money. I have never carried any overnight positions afterwards and I skip the first and last 45 mins to avoid volatility and mostly close my trades by 12.30PM.

Yes..with initial mixed experience of gain n loss..alert taken n stopped trading in bank nifty n nifty. Instead focussed on stock option n delivery stocks. Also learned to develop patience either on delivery stocks or stock options. Results are good n expecting it turning as more better. Not saying profitable. Learn learn n learn..no ending of learing in this market!

Manish Bhai Nice Know You are CA Also you saying 100% true I am trading from 2000 but as you said we make losses in 2008 made losses in 2016 i made losses in Binary options in which i traded when I was in UAE now last 10 months i am trading in Options and now in very good command as i understood that if i loose Rs 1 or say 2 lacs i should earn at least 1.5 or 3 lacs profit as simple losses will be there always but profit should be greater than loss will make you in confidence Don't fear for losses but always overcome them with more profits also you can take big trades when you are sure can make you to make very good profits this is the way i am working now and it's working well.
