BA's A380 World Traveller Economy Cabin Review - Old? Dirty?

Flew the A380 to Miami a few months ago, economy on the upper deck, plane was dirty, IFE barely responded and movies were very old.

I had a really good experience with BA on the 380 and 350 when going to Dubai so much so where I fly them over Emirates. They are refurbishing the 380 with their new cabin which is world class.

Nice true and honest review! The glory days of British Airways (1981-1997). The A380 which goes from Heathrow to Los Angeles is so filthy, the arm rests are tainted with mold!

Thank you very much. Can you help me with the situation of the armrests? Do they lift up fully vertical or only to an awkward angle? I read both and I'm not sure what is correct. Flying to Singapore out of LHR. Upper deck 81 J+K. Also: does upper and low board on different doors or same door and take the stairs inside? Thanks a lot ❤

Unfortunately I dont remember, but i THINK it was at an awkward angle, hopefully someone else here can confirm! From Heathrow they board on both floors, so if you are on the upper deck you will board from the top. At the singapore end it will depend if they have a gate that supports the double decks.

@@devwithzachary I'm 5ft 10in but would hate that 'leg room'... This is partly why I haven't been able to go on holiday to the other side of the world in years as good seats are expensive so if I go economy I'd likely end up standing in the aisle for most of the flight. lol

Sorry but sharing plugs and tight legroom on a A380 is terrible. I flew back from Marseilles last night with British Airways and leg room on that was bad as well. As always you get told "the flight is full so put your bags under the seat in front of you". I travel a lot to France, its always said on every flight. If British Airways didn't suit my timings, I would not use them.

Completly agree, considering other A380 offerings BA is a joke at this point. Badly in need of a refresh
