Lord Shiva is also known as Nataraj which means lord of dance. The dance is called Shiv Tandava. His dance is considered as the basics of dance which is now taught as classical dance in India. Hero dances some similar moves to the Tandava seeing his mother happy after placing Lord Shiva’s Shivaling under the water fall

Nice one. @01:06:00 I thought about the first trebuchet shot scene a few times and also think it was to check the distance but I think it could have been a warning shot. I assume they would know the range of their weapon but just to show the character of the person (Bahubali) Imagine we waited for 2 years to know why? There had been lots of memes about why.

Here is information about some deleted scenes of Baahubali 1 Scene 1 : When Shiva fails to reach the other side of waterfall and falls down, a monkey too jumps with him but the monkey succeeds. The monkey again appears when Shiva is thinking about the mask. That monkey brings clothes back. This gives Shiva proof that there are people above there. By seeing the clothes and ornaments that monkey brought, Shiva draws a beautiful girl that girl then turns out to be Avanthika which means Avanthika must be a royal too but taken by the rebellion after the Queen got captured. Scene 2 : the actual interval. When a soldier recognises Shivudu as Baahubali in the snow area, he immediately runs and informs Bhallaladeva and his father. The father then rages and tells how they killed senior Baahubali using five elements. While describing each element, the scene of Shivudu entering Mahishmati by crossing fire, water and remaining elements continues. After he jumped into the kingdom, the interval arrives

This franchise is absolutely about the Father ...and it is told in terms of his son listening and taking revenge for what had happened. Mind you that the second part is fully about the father as well(still we will be in the flashback) so we need to embrace the father's journey and hardships... flashback may seem long but that's the whole point of the film. PS: THE WOMEN WHO SAVED THE SON OF THE KING IS THE GRANDMOTHER OF THE KID (QUEEN MOTHER) AND THE ONE WHO IS IMPRISONED FOR 25YRS IS THE ACTUAL MOTHER OF THE CHILD...BOTH R DIFFERENT
