When Kattapa is called "uncle", most non family members who are elders are called uncle or auntie as a sign of respect in India.

Great reaction! You guys picked up lot of things that most western reactors miss with this movie! Cant wait for part 2! Baahubali series literally changed the dynamics of Indian film Industry. People these days often refer to Indian Cinema as Pre-Baahubali and Post-Baahubali era. Thats the level of cultural impact this duology had within India.
@SamuelT-fh9ux Жыл бұрын
What???? What you on about???? Pre-bahubali era. You makes it sound like before Bahubali Indian cinema was nothing and also Bahubali as some once in a life time creation. Stop spitting nonsense to hype a single movie

What Bahubali did is, it made North Indians aware of the amazing movies coming out of South. That's it

@@SamuelT-fh9ux Don't try so hard dude, there's a reason it it still one of the most talked about movies even after 8 years. It is revolutionary in many aspects, the cliffhanger at the end is one of the best if not the best in a movie. The war sequences were never before seen in Indian cinema. There are many business case studies on the marketing of this movie, big budget Pan-India movies have gained momentum after this movie, and I can go on and on. You get the point right.

Bahubali literally means superhuman strength. And the scene of him going to save his mom is symbolic of him fighting through elements of universe ie fire, earth, water and then air!!
@harishrao2000 Жыл бұрын
Its literal translation is more like "Man with strong arms". Shivagami named him that because Amarendra held her hand so tightly just after he was born.

Sivagami character is my most favorite character in this movie. The sequence of her walking through the walkway to the court and killing the rebel, Ramya Krishna slays her role. There's many such strong women queen mothers in Indian history. Women are such a strength in Indian families. Its sad people think otherwise, nowadays.

FANTASTIC REACTIONS! I shared this with a bunch of people who'd never seen Bollywood/Tollywood epics - and they were all shouting, standing, and cheering during this. They're all demanding I share Bahubali 2 with them ASAP. It's very telling that it's a long film, but not ONCE did I see anyone check their watch or even their phone during it. Such awesome, epic fun. Indian filmi have EVERYTHING, which makes them so much fun and so addictive. I find that most of the newer films I watch lately are all Indian or South Korean... They remember how to ENTERTAIN. LOVE your reactions, new HAPPY subscriber! OH! In Indian films, you'll not that when animals are involved in dangerous situation, they put "C.G.I." on the screen (Hindu sensitivies) They also will flash warnings about drinking or smoking when a character smokes or drinks. Not when people are being minced into Chutney, though... LOL

Iy you want MORE Bahubali: - There is a animated series (as far as i know not avaibable in english, but some episodes are on youtube) which shows the adventures of the young adult brothers, Baahu and Balla. - There is one comic book (small booklet) also depicting an early adventure of the two princes. - There are three PREQUEL novels (also available in english!) which tell the story of a young Sivagami on her journey of becoming the quuen (at the end of the third novel). It also features young Kattappa, etc. This novels were planned to be made into a two season TV series, which got shelved a year ago. It is unknown if it will get made at this point.

It's and epic guys it has imaginary story ofcourse it's exaggerated 🙃

Hey, great review. Thank you. We are glad you liked it :) Just so you are ready for it, a couple of points: 1. Baahubali 1 & 2 is actually a movie about Baahubali senior, and Baahubali junior's story is more like a wrapper to complete the story. 2. RRR & Baahubali series are like one of the best Indian/Tollywood movies. There are other great ones, but note that these are among the best ones, and an average Indian movie wont be this good. So, make sure you pick the good ones (you will be safe if you pick the most recommended ones from the comments, I guess :D).

Great reaction! I always have fun with the 2 of U, last with Fargo... If you'd like to watch some more Indian movies: Hi Nanna (Telugu) for the heart and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Hindi) for the message. About the extras: Rajamouli said in an interview for RRR that they used between 1500 and 2000 extras for that. The interviewer was a little shocked and asked how do you manage? And Rajamouli answered, that that was nothing and they had up to 3000 extras for Bahubali ;-).
