In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. Minmaxing frontloaded damage then scrambling to take anything that resembles a block card in lategame is a really funny approach to a run. I love that Slay the Spire is the kind of game where this can be a valid strategy while trying to get an a20h winstreak going.

I started playing spire this semester during college since it’s an easy game to do a run and stop before class, and your videos have made me improve my runs so much in such a short amount of time! Also it’s rare that a video 1+ hour long can make me sit through it the entire time but i keep procrastinating hw just to watch the vids lol. Keep it up! I actually started watching the vods instead of the channel for a more representative win/loss impression since it's really only highlights that make it to this channel. Why is runic cube + combust a terrible combo?

Because combust triggers at the end of your turn, but before the discard phase. So you get damaged and draw the extra card from cube, only to instantly discard it. You don't get to keep it for next turn

The beginning of this video is why I never take the money from Sssnake. Take just enough money to remove the curse you're given, wasting a removal in the process? What a great deal. Early game boost? Have fun being mauled by a Jaw worm as badly as only a nob could otherwise maul you. Especially here when you already have 2 curses in your deck :(
