There was no controversy in the video, the first woman claimed “first wife” and the second one claimed “first Iya Suwe” which was a main character in the playgroup. Of course, in the group there were other “Iya Suwes” after the first person that played that role moved on when she became pregnant for Baba Suwe. Even in the video, the first Iya Suwe did not say she was Baba Suwe’s wife, she only said that (in Yoruba) “they were lovers at a time but the romance did not last long”
