Thanks for featuring Awo Ifakolade. He is highly learned, I have so much respect for his level of knowledge. One of the few Babalawo I heard say Yoruba isese concepts should not be translated, including translating Olodumare to God, not many Awo are brave enough to say that even though they know it is true.

He never said Olodumare can't be translated to God please... possibly this is your own assumption. We say Olodumare in Yoruba Language while God in English regardless of how they (the westerners) explain their own God. Please we should stop confusing our generation all in the name of showing our rejection for these foreign religions. Thank you.
