One thing about Taylor that I’ve always found fascinating is how much she reads. She is a true student of the sport, actively seeking to absorb as much knowledge as possible. That’s why she always talks about her training and racing with such nuance. She understands when to change strategies and when to stick with the current approach. She is very clear about her goals and cautious to make commitments without full information. She races with a lot of passion and bubbly energy, but underneath that surface is a wily tactician.

What a great athlete and personality. She is smart, she is self deprecating and she happens to be the best female mid distance triathlete in the world. I love how she is a sponge for understanding her craft. Immensely impressed by this young woman. I’ll be cheering for her! Do the TT Taylor…. Fly human fly!

Taylor mentioned before that she doesn't like races based in carparks. It's also nice to hear that there is interest in creating more diverse race courses. It would be interesting to break the mould and go back to more varying distances and course types. Let's go old school! That's why IM Nice makes a great race course (he old Long Course Triathlon in Nice was also fairly good.)

this crazy chick is so fun to listen to...& such an amazing athlete & very cool she's a Hoka iconic now!!! i got my first Hoka's last year, only because they sponsor ironMan; best buy ever: no more shin splints, no more plantar fasciitis -just did my 5th triathlon on them yesterday, so will be starting on my 2nd pair of Hokas for the next round of training & events; i use a trail shoe instead of a road shoe, because the colours and patterns are prettier:)

WAIT, USA Cycling has money? Part of the Olympic experience is being a part of the village and living that, this is so funny as we have Ilona Maher in Rugby just doing funny content about the village every day driving herself and her sport forward. She has a greater following than probably the top 30 followed athletes combined because she is engaging. I love Taylor's attitude in general, but maybe the Athletes should tell the Olympics they need air conditioning? I lived in Brittany for a year and we only had heating...the Summers were rough...for an American that used A/C!
