Does anyone else remember the DQ Chocolate Rock? This was an amazing chocolate-lovers’ concoction during the 1990s. It consisted of a side-by-side double-scoop hot fudge sundae in a dish similar to the banana split ‘boat’. The sundae was doused with a generous ladleful of the chocolate dip topping and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

There are some things you missed. Like example: Cotton Candy Dipped cone is no longer in certain DQ’s. No sprinkles of any kind. No more Cotton Candy icecream and other like that.

i work at DQ, you can ask them to make an oreo blizzard with brownie pieces and marshmallow. We still have all of the toppings (any location should have all the toppings too because they are used in a lot of menu items), Oreo Brownie earthquake just isn’t promoted or technically on the menu.

same thing for the triple chocolate utopia, just ask for a sundae with Brownie pieces, cocoa fudge, chocolate chunks and whipped cream. Some locations do still have this on the menu, just depends on the location.

I used to go to DQ but they now freeze all the soft serve int he morning, so if you get a sundae they pull one out of the freezer frozen solid and put a topping on it and hand it to you, not sure how you can Fuk up soft serve ice cream so bad but they managed. On a different note the last time I went to DQ (It was really just for the chicken strip basket) I ordered a pineapple sundae and instead of being served a cup of soft serve ice cream I got a cop of frozen ICE cream and they just put a regular chunks of pineapple on it and not crushed pineapple in syrup just a few of those tiny dried pineapple chunks that are put on really cheap frozen pizzas, it tasted like disappointment. Also to note about DQ's ice cream, it only has 1% butter fat instead of the normal 3% to 6 % so it has that harsh, non smooth, non creamy texture. By law they can't call it ice cream so they have to call it a blizzard instead.
