It's easy to get red cherry dr. Pepper. All I ever have to do is go to a restaurant that is a soda fountain and buy it. They're available at selected restaurants that I'll be making the trip. ONCE I catch it.

I remember Mountain Dew Sangrita Blast. In the middle 2010’s, I worked at a supermarket with an exclusive Pepsi contract. One of the Pepsi vendors told me that Sangrita Blast was introduced the same time as the bottled Baja Blast. He said that Sangrita Blast didn’t sell quite as well as the Baja Blast.

A lot of time what we think is discontinued is only sold in select markets. Mr. Pibb is all over around here. Some fast food chains even have both Coke and Pepsi as options so you can either get Mr. Pibb or Dr. Pepper. It is funny to watch people stand there at the drink station debating which one is better.

I'm a weirdo. I liked RC Cola better than Pepsi and Coke, Mr. Pibb (creamier) than Dr. Pepper, and Mello Yello more than Mountain Dew. (In Taiwan I bought Mello Yello from a Japanese department store as recently as just a few years ago, and yes the labeling was Japanese.) When I visited USA last time, I asked for cans of Hawaiian Punch! I loved that! Tahitian Treat sounds strongly familiar but I can't say for sure if I had tried that since I moved to Taiwan in 1996. Excellent video, BabbleTop--I love your channel!! Too bad I missed out on quite a lot of these drinks but I guess the timing was wrong. Keep up the great videos!!! Ok, BabbleTop, here's a story for you that I was reminded of by the evasive "berries" in some of the drinks. In 1988, it was my first year in college. One weekend day I wanted to go to Columbus (Ohio) to eat at Flying Tomato Pizza (corner of High St. and 15th Ave.) I called a lot of friends but it was either the phone was busy, they were busy, or they weren't home. I wanted a companion, so I decided to call a girl who liked me but I wasn't interested in her because she was 18, but had a 1-or-2-year-old son (and his name was "Brian", which was also my name before I became "Ray Chang".) I asked if she wanted to go eat pizza in Columbus and she said "YES!!!!" I thought "Oh, Jeez..." In the car, she would get nervous if I wasn't talking constantly. She was afraid I was bored. After a pause, she would say "TALK!!!" I randomly started talking about candy/drink flavors. I said that strawberry, raspberry, cherry, etc are all the same to me because they're all "red". I finally said "Other than blueberry, I don't like anything that has '-erry' on the end." She folded her arms and looked down and said "Hmmmmmmph!!!!!!!" I thought that was a strange response and then I thought, Oh shit, her name is "Kerry". Ooooops!!!! "Live and learn", HAHA--Take care, BabbleTop!!!!!

Hi, BabbleTop, I would like to humbly make a suggestion. I love your channel, but I hope to help make it better. I suspect your host has been taught to replace the "t" sound in the middle of a word with a "glottal stop". This makes sense if you're speaking very quickly, but at normal speed this annoying. It's not "Moun-un-Dew", It's "Mountain Dew"!!!!! Pronounce the "t" sound!!!! I love her beautiful voice, but it annoys me every time she changes "certain" into "cer-un". Can you tell her to be more natural? The "t" sound in the middle of a word is OK. Hope you can accept this, BabbleTop.

I miss the Snapple sodas, and the root beer was one I bought more than once. Another good thing that's gone missing: Schweppes Lemon Sour. Maybe it doesn't qualify for this list as it was in the drink mixer section, but by itself it was carbonated lemonade on steroids with a hint of bitterness that made it special to me.

I know Wal-Mart owns the Grapette brand now and only comes in 2 liter bottles, but when I was a kid in the early 1960's it was different. Grapette only can in refillable 10 oz. bottles, with 2" wide smooth bands at the top and bottom and half inch bands swirling between. That was before high fructose corn syrup and had good clean flavor only sugar can give. I gave up soft drinks because now everything has a artificial flavor that seems unatural and the HFCS has an afterburn bitterness feel in your mouth. Too bad people can't experience the way things were, if they did, would demand changes back to better taste and quality.

If you really want to try Hubba Bubba soda, order some Big Red soda online. They only sell it in like Eastern Michigan and Northern Ohio, so you need to get it online. But it tastes a really good, a lot like bubble gum. Edit : I just found out it started in Texas, actually. I thought it was Detroit because that was the only place I personally have seen it.

Red Fusion was way better than Cheerwine to me. Cheerwine tastes like any other black cherry soda. I've heard Red Fusion was supposed to taste like the original Dr. Pepper flavor. Could be a myth though.
