With the exception of the organic fruit pops and the wild caught sockeye salmon, the organic chipotle black bean burger, and the quinoa blends,, the rest of these items are pesticide laden and/or totally processed GMO junk! How hard is it to keep the dry ingredients for waffles already pre-mixed up in a jar and then just add the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, etc.) once ready to make waffles and then just pour it into a hot waffle iron? That being said, I DO get the organic vegetarian Bibigo Potstickers in bulk from BJ's warehouse for my mom who is a vegetarian, And it's delicious and even I as someone who DOES eat meat, still loves those veggie potstickers

For the love of god, please stop with the BS promotion of "organic". Organic uses pesticides, and there is nothing healthier about it. As far as grass fed beef having more omega 3 fatty acids than grain fed, yes, it does, but neither contain enough to affect your health either way. It's like saying someone with 3 cents is 300% richer than someone with 1 cent. While technically true, neither one has enough money to do anything with it.
@crunchysocialisthippie3 жыл бұрын
BULLSHIT! What are you, a paid spokesman for Monsanto? Organic is much healthier not to mention much better for the environment. Aside from the fact that organic products are not allowed to use synthetic chemical pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, in addition, organic products are also forbidden to use GMO/genetic engineering which contrary to the corporate party line is not about increasing harvest yields but rather maximizing corporate patents & thus, profits. Like with the struggling, poverty-stricken cotton farmers in India who were coerced into buying patented Monsanto GMO cotton seeds after being promised that it would significantly increase their harvests and so they mortgaged their lands To afford the GMO cotton seeds and then their crops systematically failed, leaving them in massive debt with nothing to show for it, sadly resulting in many of these Indian farmers committing suicide rather than living penniless. Meanwhile, Monsanto has made off with millions if not billions of dollars in profits on the backs of these poor farmers whose lives they destroyed for the almighty buck Also, the fact that you say that grass fed beef having more omega-3 fatty acids than grain fed does not contain enough to affect one's health either way, shows how biased you are. Especially when people are eating beef on a regular basis, it adds up! Then again, it's no surprise you know nothing about what's healthy, and what is not, when you have subscriptions to several vaping channels, even though vaping has been shown to be just as harmful as (if not more harmful than) regular smoking!
@crunchysocialisthippie3 жыл бұрын
Furthermore, what is it to you if other people want to eat or even promote organic?? How does it impact you in any way?? You're free to go on shoveling fast food, boxed junk chicken nuggets, and other processed garbage in your face, to your heart's content and ending up with diabetes, heart disease and all the other health conditions that such a diet will likely lead to, so why do you feel the need to bash/throw dirt on those who choose otherwise?? Nobody is forcing you to eat organic and/or healthy (since just because something is organic does not necessarily mean that it's healthy -- though its still usually healthier than the conventional equivalent....................for example chocolate chip cookies made with organic cane sugar, Real butter, pure vanilla and other organic ingredients, and no additives and preservatives, is still marginally better than conventional chocolate chip cookies made with high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated vegetable oils, imitation vanilla and artificial additives & preservatives) and you're free to ignore any & all promotion of organic. What gives you the right to attack/bash other people trying to promote alternatives to unhealthy processed foods???
@tedgovostis73513 жыл бұрын
@@crunchysocialisthippie OK idiot, lets see. 1: Organic seeds can be patented too, so your arguement about GMOs and patents is irrelevant. Contrary to the popular myths, very few commercial farmers don't buy new seeds every year, because of the difficulty in washing and storing seeds from each harvest. If not properly treated and stored, you're entire seed supply can get ruined by rot and fungus, among other problems. 2: Organic is in no way inherently better for the environment, and can be worse, due to increased need for tilling causing soil erosion, needing more land to feed less people, more vulnerability to pests, climate change, and disease. 3: Organic prepared foods like breads, cereals, etc are usually less nutritious because organic rules forbid fortifying the foods with added vitamins. 4: Indian farmers committing suicide had nothing to do with GMOs and everything to do with shitty farming conditions and predatory banking practices. If non GMO cotton was so good, they would not have tried to move towards other types, now would they? 5:No, beef is not a suitable source of Omega 3 fatty acids. A standard serving (3 oz) of grass fed beef has 65 mg of Omega 3 compared to the grain feds roughly 40 mg, and a healthy male should be getting about 1600 mg /day (1100 for female). You're looking at needing to eat over 4 lbs of beef a day. If you're looking to get Omega 3 from meat, compare that to salmon's 1800 mg per serving. So no, even eating a half lb steak every day isn't going to make any health difference. 6: I'll just refer you to the Royal College of Physicians as far as health risks of vaping vs smoking. But I'm sure you know more about health than them. 7: Promoting anti-science bullshit most certainly affects me, and promoting anti-GMO bullshit has led to holocaust levels of preventable deaths of children over the last 10+ years. Literally millions of dead children, and millions more permanently blinded, because of tools like you demonizing biotech and delaying golden rice from reaching farmers because of fear mongering about GMOs. 8: Cane sugar (sucrose) and HFCS are completely indistinguishable to your body, as the first thing that happens to sucrose is that, starting in your mouth and continuing in the small intestine, it is broken into fructose and glucose by the enzyme sucrase. In exactly the same ratios as HFCS is mixed at. Your body will treat a teaspoon of sucrose and a teaspoon of HFCS exactly the same way. 9: Once people start down this moronic anti-science rabbit hole you end up with anti-vaxxer bullshit, anti-nuclear energy bullshit (a huge FU to Greenpeace for making sure we're well and truly screwed from climate change, because they protested and fearmongered nuclear so much we didn't adopt the literally safest and cleanest form of energy we have and are stuck with fossil fuels), anti-biotech bullshit, anti-5G bullshit, etc. In short, organic has no inherent upside, and a ton of downsides associated with it.
