A few animals i don't see often are Gemsbok, Scimitar Horned Oryx, Springbok, Pygmy Hippos, American Alligator, Asian Water Monitor or either of the giant tortoises. Any of those are what i'd like to see in this zoo. Edited to add Fossa to the list.

Das mit Maggie Smith fand ich auch sehr traurig zu erfahren… Aber wie ich gerne immer sage: „Alle Energie ist nur geborgt und eines Tages müssen wir sie zurückgeben.“ Maggie hat das Harry Potter Fandom stark mit geprägt und sie wird immer in Erinnerung bleiben. 😊

I think this is going to be a highland pack with a few pieces and no exhibit animal like the barnyard pack, and that we will get a zookeepers collection dlc maybe in spring (or around christmas time if we are lucky)

That's what I think too is that the last DLC will be next year. I think they are trying to get them all out. I could have sworn I heard them say two DLCS in the livestream. One in two weeks and one on the anniversary. I do think the zookeepers pack will be later. Like in the spring. But I don't think they're calling it the Zookeeper pack. What I found in the dictionary is that they leaked Global. I imagine that will have 10 highly requested animals in it from all over the world.

I can understand your feelings on having less interest with the same type of animal, especially since you're an expert builder. The way I think about it, though, is that the focus of the builds can turn to the types of architecture and style of the zoos. One series that I really hope you'll do is a train route focused zoo. I'm not sure if you've done one entirely based on that, but it'd be so cool to see your interpretation of it. I am still a novice builder so the similar animals don't bug me nearly as much because each time I restart a zoo I try to learn how to build better looking/optimal habitats and zoo layouts. Plus, I haven't even gotten through a third of the animals in the game (I have all the dlc), so there's plenty more for me to learn. I imagine once PZ is retired, the modding community will take over fully so you'll be able to keep making new things. I will always watch your PZ content bc I feel like I learn so much every time.

I'm neutral about the new DLC. Like yeah, if this is the last one, not really the best sendoff, but yeah, look at how many amazing and diverse DLCs we got in PZ vs PC1. It's insulting to PC1 (just the first one, that's all). All the animals in this new DLC feel good for a zoo game. The Pallas cat and Markhor are in my hometown zoo, so that's always great! And the Hammy Babby definitely is a favorite for peeps. I really hope that whatever other critters we get just feel very strong for the pack and animal roster. I don't need more specific reskins where I could use another animal to represent that one (i.e. I don't need say an American Badger vs the European one. I got a badger, I'm good; and they both live in similar biomes and behave close enough to work). But say like rabbits.... quokkas or wallabies are the closest fit in size and behaviors, but like clearly they are not rabbits. Uh.... small thing, but the arrows on the sign feel out of place for a new members recognition, like are they now animals or rocks or plants in the zoo? Super small thing, but it feels weird... Future of Venlo... hmmm... How about a few more "houses", like a Nocturnal house, Tropical House, Reptile house? Or for habitat representation, I'd like to see what the "Big 5" would be for Venlo. What "successful" animals does the zoo focus it's initiatives on for conservation and the legacy of those animals? You probably already have a few present with Sumatra and such, but maybe take a challenge of like Hippos or Polar Bears that require insane amounts of space in the zoo. The "expansion" of the zoo for those pre-existing habitats. That's kindof where I reside storywise for Venlo.

I like the idea for the big 5. And yeah the arrows is a fair point! I'll look into that (they are just the smallest sign lol) And I agree, the quality of the PZ free update+dlc combination was outstanding! Makes me dream for planet coaster

Although PZ is by far my favorite game and I have no interest in the other planet games, I do kind of hope that this is a celebration pack and is the last DLC. At this point, we know we aren't getting any new types of animals (birds and aquatics) and I feel like the longer frontier supports PZ, the longer it will be until we get a PZ2. So I'm ready for them to end support and start working on PZ2 that will (hopefully) give us birds and aquatics as the major selling point. In saying all that though, I'll never be disappointed in more DLCs and I'm very excited for whatever we get next!

Did it sound like they're announcing two DLCs? The one teased in two weeks and one on the anniversary? Or did I misunderstand what Johnny Watts was saying in the livestream? Because I thought I heard him say we are going to get more information in two weeks and that we're getting another animal pack on the anniversary of Planet Zoo and that's why we're getting the anniversary animal early. I suspect one animal pack is the mountain DLC and the other one is something like an Anniversary animal pack. I think they are trying to get all the animal packs out before support ends. I do, however, think the African Leopard is the final anniversary animal but the DLC is not the last one. That's a sign that they are wrapping up development for the game. Looking forward to building for the African Leopard.

Ooooh, I like this idea, but I think it's probably just one anniversary animal, and one animal pack. But an Anniversary Animal pack sounds interesting conceptually!
