Babbs Mill parkrun - FREEZING! but Beautiful + National Running Show 2023

It was oh so cold but a really quite beautiful morning for a parkrun before exploring the National Running Show 2023 in Birmingham. Babbs Mill is very close to the NEC in Birmingham so a perfect location!

Thanks! It strangely didn't feel busy even though they smashed the record for the most finishers by like 200! the volunteers did an amazing job 👏

A lovely crisp, frosty parkrun there. Good swagging at the National Running Show. They weren't giving away free gels then? We saw those on another channel.

It was beautiful but a shame we couldn't see the lake very well so we'll need to go back! We must have missed the free gels but last year there were more apparently with lots of high5 gels. It was our first time so will have to investigate futher next time...
