I’m unsure what’s more impressive: 2nd place at a Parkrun, 18.17 5K or our glorious leader Tim Stent actively engaging with other people at a race!! Super stuff!!!

@@middleagedrunningman it is tough going for it every weekend. I've had a couple of decent PBs this year and both times I'd missed out my long run that week. I reckon if you did some interval and threshold training during the week you'd get even quicker!

Hi Tim, if u want a quick parkrun course do the one at Stratford upon Avon, when I did it my watch measured 2m of elevation for the 5k. Could help going under 18.

If your holidaying in Cornwall again this year, you could do Eden project Parkrun in rollerskates and get sub 18min easily, it's "overall" negative elevation! 🤣🤾🏻‍♂

I have seen supershoes cracked out for Saturday mornings and the tension at the front is akin to roadrace league ... It is the race that must not be named 🤣😂🤣😂
