A while back, I watched Babe for the first time in probably 20 years. I was 25 when I watched it, and I was probably around 5 or 6 the previous time I watched it. Have you ever come across some music or a smell or taste that you forgot you still remembered? And when you experience that sensation again, it's familiar, but it's also really distant in your mind? It's like the fact that it's familiar surprises you. It's not nostalgia, but I felt whatever that feeling is when I heard the music during the opening credits of Babe for the first time in 20 years, *_especially_* when it got to the part at 0:18. It was such an interesting feeling, that feeling of distant familiarity. Also, this theme, which comes from Saint-Saëns's Symphony No. 3, is one of the most uplifting melodies I know of.

On average, I put one video in my favorites every year I'm on KZbin. This one made it there. Thanks for uploading this. Classic movie that I grew up with. My dad and I used to watch this movie a lot together. The song, itself, brings back all of those memories I have with him. Oh, how I yearn for the simpler days. ❤️
